Vickie was raised in a Christian home and grew up attending church every time the doors were opened. She was taught to love God, church, and what is right - those three things shaped her life. She accepted Christ as her personal Savior at the age of fifteen and from that day has wanted to serve her Savior. She attended Tennessee Temple University where she graduated with a Secretarial Certificate. While at college, she also prepared for the ministry by taking Bible courses along with courses for Ministers' Wives. She has worked alongside her husband, David, in the ministry for the past 50 years.
