David was raised in a Christian home and led to the Lord by his mother when he was seven. He began leading music at 13 when his father started a church in his hometown of Clearwater, Kansas. He was called to full-time ministry at the age of 16 while at youth camp. David graduated from Baptist Bible College with his BS in Theology.
After graduation, he served as an Associate Pastor in Wichita, KS. He then pastored in Wyoming, Oklahoma, Kansas, Ohio, and lastly here at Neuse Baptist Church. After retiring, he traveled, representing the ministry of My Sea Hope, a ship-based ministry serving Pastors, Missionaries, and churches in the Caribbean. In 2023, he was asked to lead the music ministry at Neuse Baptist Church. He also teaches the Better Years Bible study on Sunday morning and coordinates their monthly meeting and activities.
