Plan Your Visit

Visiting a church for the first time can be an exciting experience, but it can also be an intimidating one. Below are answers to some of the most common questions that people have about visiting a church.

As you drive on property there are signs directing you to a special visitors parking spot. As you enter the front door a greeter will escort you to the welcome center which is located in the foyer and staffed with volunteers to direct you and your family to the appropriate area.

NBC Kid's is a great experience for children of all ages. In the 9:30am Sunday School hour, children are divided into graded groups for a Bible lesson and activities. At 10:30am the teachers lead them to "Children's Church" where they sing, have puppets, skits and a message from God's Word.

On Sunday Evenings, at 5:00pm, our Kid's Choir meets to sing, play instruments and learn to "Make a Joyful Noise." The children perform in our main services on a regular basis.

Master Club meets on Wednesday evenings from 6:45pm until 8:00pm. Master Club is a great discipleship program for children. Your child will learn to hide God's Word in his/her heart while at the same time learning the message of each passage they memorize. The night is filled with a Bible lesson, games and handbook time.

There's no dress code at Neuse Baptist Church for our guests and visitors. Our ministry leaders and much of our church family dress in more traditional "Sunday best." Our main goal is that you would feel welcome and at home on your visit to NBC.

You can expect a warm, friendly welcome from our entire church family. You can expect the Bible to be preached and taught with compassion and clarity. You can expect to find music that honors and glorifies the Lord Jesus Christ. You can expect to find a church that loves people and is passionate about making Jesus Christ known in our community and around the world.

Our church uses the King James Version in all of our teaching and preaching.
